World Environment Day 2021 - Reimagine. Recreate. Restore

This year marks the beginning of the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration and we are proud that our suppliers support this on a daily basis.

One of our kitchen suppliers Rotpunkt has been manufacturing their kitchens carbon-neutral now for nearly a year and a half, they started their sustainability journey back in 2017.    When they design their new products they are created with design, functionally, quality and sustainability in mind.

Dekton from Cosentino is another example of a product that we use that is carbon-neutral in its entire life cycle, this worktop comes in a range of thicknesses and is offered in large-format slabs to increase the design possibilities and range of applications in both the kitchen and the bathroom.

Our bathroom products from Crosswater also have eco-credentials, they use the latest flush systems in their WCs saving 3 to 4.5 litres.  During the manufacture process of a wide range of their WCs and basins the wastewater used in production is recycled and reused.

When we are working on a full remodel or extension we talk to our clients in regards to alternative heating solutions to boilers such as ground or air source heat pumps this is in line with the Government’s Future Homes Standard where new homes from 2025 will no longer have gas boilers.

The use of sustainable goods has become an integral part of our company and business methodology, where we can we use suppliers who are carbon-neutral or use methods which re-use water or materials where possible.   We recycle all cardboard and other materials where possible and for every kitchen and bathroom that we sell we pledge to have trees planted to help offset our carbon footprint.

If eco credentials are something that you are looking for when you start your kitchen or bathroom journey then please contact us to discuss further.
